Launch a product to the storefront

Product identity starts in WMS. Customer presentation is finished in DTC Manager. Medusa executes commerce, and the Storefront shows the published result.

How it works

  1. 1In WMS Admin → Catalog, create or review the product identity.
  2. 2Confirm variants, SKU/barcode, sizes, source metadata and media are correct.
  3. 3Resolve Metadata Inbox issues that would make the product unsafe to publish.

  1. 1In DTC Manager → Products, add customer-facing title, description, SEO, recommendations and price presentation.
  2. 2Choose draft or published state deliberately.
  3. 3Use Storefront Editor if the product belongs in a homepage block, collection or navigation entry.

  1. 1In DTC Manager → Operations, confirm catalog publication reached Medusa without a stuck effect.
  2. 2In Medusa Admin, confirm the product/variants exist as the executable projection. Do not recreate a missing projection manually.
  3. 3If the product needs sellable stock, complete the stock-to-sale workflow.

  1. 1Open the product on the Storefront.
  2. 2Check copy, media, variants, price presentation, availability and mobile layout.
  3. 3If checkout is part of the release, verify the resulting order in Medusa—not only the success page.
