WMS Admin

The source of truth for product identity, physical units, storage locations, receiving, outgoing shipments and inspection.

Open the app
Use this app for
  • Receiving and locating stock
  • Physical inventory counts, moves, damage and adjustments
  • Product, variant, SKU, barcode and source-media identity
  • Picking, packing, shipping, tracking and return inspection
Do not use it for
  • DTC customer payment or refund state
  • Storefront copy and page layout
  • Medusa available-to-sell reservations

How it works

  • Overview: on-hand, reserved, damaged, on-hold, receiving, putaway and outgoing exceptions
  • Inventory: product-level physical balances, locations and movement actions
  • Catalog: product identity, variants, identifiers, source metadata and media
  • Activity: the physical inventory movement history
  • Metadata Inbox: catalog issues that need review
  • Receiving: expected deliveries, counting and placement
  • Outgoing: pick, pack, ship and tracking work
  • Settings: warehouse and system configuration available to your role

  1. 1Open Receiving and select or create the expected batch.
  2. 2Count the units that physically arrived.
  3. 3Use Location Pending when the final shelf or storage location is not yet known, or select the correct physical location.
  4. 4Resolve discrepancies before closing the batch.
  5. 5Confirm putaway work is no longer waiting on placement.

Every physical change needs a real warehouse reason and movement history. Never edit a DTC or Medusa number to imitate a physical move.
